Shooter Games Collection

Every game allowing a player to shoot enemies can be described as a shooter. According to this definition, the earliest shooter was the 1962's Spacewar!, followed by famous releases such as Space Invaders or Centipede.

There are many subgenres of shooters. For instance, run and gun games like Cobra or rails-shooter such as The House of the Dead. However, when we hear about shooter games, the first thing that comes to mind is the FPS subgenre.

John Carmack, John Romero, and their colleagues of Id Software were the first-person shooter's pioneers, developing Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, and Quake. Their games have been one of the parent's and public officials' biggest enemies. In fact, no scientific evidence has ever been found that games like Doom or Quake can turn a healthy teenager into a bloodthirsty maniac.

Many developers had tried copying Id Software's success. As a result, FPSs were probably the most popular video games gender throughout the 90s. FPSs have a lot of fans today as well. As a result, in our collection, you'll find such bestsellers as Battlefield 4, Doom Eternal, Payday 2, or Halo.
