Gamescom Games Collection

The first Gamescom was organized in 2009. Since then, it has become one of the most important events in every gamer's calendar. Every year it provides us with trailers, pieces of gameplay, and announcements regarding upcoming video games. Gamescom was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and in 2021 it took a hybrid form; hence, most of the events were available only online. Fortunately, in 2022, video game enthusiasts will again have a chance to storm the Koelnmesse in Cologne. The event will be held from August 24 to 28. To celebrate Gamescom 2022, we've prepared a new collection of video games and discounts.

Games of the year (so far)

Until the release of games that will be announced during the event, you may play hits from our Gamescom 2022 collection. You may, for instance, consider buying games that are strong contenders for the Game of the Year award. If we had to pick our favorite, it would be Elden Ring. This FromSoftware masterpiece elevates the good old Dark Souls formula to another level and extends it with an open world. 

If you're looking for a less challenging adventure Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga seems like a sound choice. The new installment in the brick series covers all three Star Wars trilogies and, besides story missions, features a galaxy that you can freely explore. You may also try out Dying Light 2, especially since it will soon get the Blood Ties DLC. We hope that Techland will have some information about this expansion on Gamescom. There are also some less obvious gems, such as Tunic, Sifu, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, or July's GAMIVO Game of the Month - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge.

Flawless PC ports

Moreover, this year, PC players had a chance to play some of the most precious PlayStation exclusives. The beginning of 2022 definitely belonged to Kratos. God of War could be displayed as an example of the perfect PC port of a console hit. In August, Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered was allowed to step beyond the PlayStation environment. And once again, we were given proof that Sony really cares about the quality of their system-selling titles' ports. 

You may also pre-order some upcoming hits, such as Gotham Knights, God of War: Ragnarok, Forspoken, Midnight Suns, or new installments in the fan-favorite sports series:  Madden NFL 23, NBA 2K23, and FIFA 23.
