The new beginning
God of War is the eighth installment in the long-running series of third-person action-adventure games. It serves as a soft reboot, thus giving players who don't know the series the perfect game to join Kratos's adventure. You will follow the former god of war as he and his son Atreus travel through the world based on Norse mythology to fulfill his wife's last wish. God of War was first released on PlayStation 4 on April 20, 2018. The PC port followed on January 14, 2022.
