Squad is a multiplayer FPS that will let you join massive 50 versus 50 battles on 20 large-scale maps. To defeat enemy forces, you'll build up fortified positions and use many diverse vehicles such as armored personnel carriers, tanks, and helicopters. Moreover, just like on the real battlefields, communication, planning, and coordination of your team's actions will be crucial. Of course, any bold action must be preceded by a good recon. Otherwise, can send your troops on a suicide mission.
In the army now
The game features many armies, including real armed forces and fictional coalitions. You can join the ranks of such factions as:
- US Army,
- Russian Ground Forces,
- British Army,
- Canadian Armed Forces,
- The Middle Eastern Alliance.
Each army uses unique weapons and vehicles. You'll have to use this arsenal to neutralize the enemy's strengths, stop their charging tanks and dominate the battlefield.

This game has much to offer and will entertain you for many hours. The gameplay is similar to a classic simulative FPS with some addition for what regards base building (FOBs, rallys and so on) and structures. There are also vehicles such as tanks and APCs but no aircraft. The strongest point of this game is the teamwork and the communication system. There are usually 2 factions opposing, each faction is divided in different squads. Each squad has a squad leader that coordinates with other leaders and gives guidelines.<br />It's a very fun game even to play in solo but in my opinion it gives its best if played with friends. Having a mic and a headset is almost mandatory.

This is Early Access Game...<br /><br />Pros:<br />1)Silky smooth movement system similar to the Battlefield series.<br />2)Gun play is very realistic, but satisfying & challenging not frustrating realistic<br />3)Large PvP, 50 vs 50<br />4)Maps, large enough amount to keep it fresh<br /><br />Cons:<br />1)Slower pacing, the game is built around large scale conflicts and the maps are very big so expect a much slower multiplayer experience like ARMA 3 than say Battlefield 3.<br />2)Challenging, Squad is not built to help rookies/noobs.<br /><br />Score:<br />UI - 3/5<br />Graphics - 4/5<br />Gameplay - 5/5<br />Audio - 5/5

Team work is incentivized and it is clear from the get go - if you don't want to follow orders or work with your squad, you won't be able to be in the squad. And if you cant work in a squad you dont get cooler decked out guns. Some of your favorite rounds will be the same ones that you get 5 kills. Be a good teammate, stay level headed, dont take yourself too seriously and you will enjoy this game.<br />

If you are after a game that isn't as complex as Arma and isn't as predictable as playing BFV then Squad is positioned somewhere in between these two titles. Unlike BFV there is no progression in the game and everyone has the same loadouts. The game focuses mainly on team play as you cannot play the game to it best without good teamwork. There is a big learning curve at the start but not as much as Arma and you will find yourself coming back for more.

I only played about 100 h, so still learning... as you probably already know its a tactical FPS with big dose of immersive realism, so FFis always on(remember new players/war criminals:p) you will have better and worse games, sometimes save whole squad like a goddamn Rambo :P(very satisfying feeling ) sometime dropped after running 5k from some cheeky sniper :D(not so much ) Plus, thanks to the community we have lots of great mods in workshop ... GG
