Remakes and Remasters Collection

Releasing updated versions of renowned games isn't new to the videogames industry. For instance, F-19 Stealth Fighter, released in 1992, was a remake of 1987's Project Stealth Fighter. Obviously, in recent years such releases have gained in popularity. It's much cheaper and safer for publishers to invest in games that already have a solid fanbase. Moreover, it's an opportunity to present classic stories of the past to the new generations of players. As a result, there are dozens of remakes and remasters nowadays. 

For instance, there's Mass Effect Legendary Edition. It's a collection of the whole Shepard trilogy featuring all the DLCs, updated graphics, and some gameplay mechanics improved. It's the perfect pick if you're either a Mass Effect fan or a gamer who has never visited Citadel yet. The universe presented in BioWare's RPGs is still breathtaking.

If you're looking for a serious challenge, there's Dark Souls Remastered. In this Hidetaka Miyazaki masterpiece, you must master your skills and make no false move because every mistake will result in death. On the other hand, beating each boss is as satisfying as winning Olympic gold.

Furthermore, we have Definitive Editions of all three installments of Age of Empires. Especially the modern version of Age of Empires II seems like an example of a perfect remaster because, besides upgraded graphics, sounds, and mechanics, it features tons of new content. You should try it even if you've already finished all the original campaigns of this classic RTS.

There's also NieR: Replicant ver.1.22474487139... The new version of Nier is the very first opportunity to play this action-RPG classic on PC. It offers much more than just a title that is impossible to remember.

You may also find in our collection Mafia: Definitive Edition. It shows us that some ideas have to wait for the right technology before they can come to life. Back in 2002, it was impossible to create such a vast and polished open world as we can see in the new Mafia version. Consequently, the Definitive Edition provides a significantly different experience to the original game.
