As the year 2020 begins, a disheartened thirty-something aspiring writer from Warsaw decides to create a name for himself. He intends to astonish the literary world with his groundbreaking book on refugees, which will motivate and invigorate people while broadening their perspectives and transforming the world for the better. We. The Refugees: Ticket to Europe game features an intricate, multi-layered narrative with almost 2 million characters, equivalent to 3-4 novels. The plot branches out into parallel paths with meaningful choices and consequences, allowing players to encounter new characters and explore fresh storylines during subsequent playthroughs.

Based on facts

Before starting the writing process, the team conducted a series of interviews with refugees who were knowledgeable about the game's concept, as it is based on true events. The writers visited the Moria refugee camp on the Greek island of Lesvos to present the prototype of the game to refugees and volunteers. In addition, relevant NGOs' experts reviewed the script.
