Conquer the continent of Calradia in Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord
With the Empire torn by a vicous civil war and the neighboring countries eager to take the opportunity to steal some of the spoils for themselves, the continent of Calradia is once again thrown into war. In Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, you venture on a medieval action-RPG adventure as you join one of the kingdoms fighting for control, or create your own kingdom and carve out a piece of land for yourself.
Created by TaleWorlds Entertainment, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Mount & Blade: Warband, giving the players once again the ability to create their own hero from nothing in a fictional representation of the Dark Ages.
Shape your character and the world around you
In Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, you’ll create and customize your own character and set them on an epic journey. The game features a complex character editor, allowing players to shape their hero exactly how they want to. You’ll also be able to develop your characters backstory - whether they come from a noble family or spent their childhood begging on the streets, and how their story progressed up until the point you’re starting at.
Your hero’s power is defined by six main attributes: Vigor, Control, Endurance, Cunning, Social, and Intelligence. Each attribute includes three skills, from one-handed combat and riding a horse to tactics, roguery, and engineering.
Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord: Key Features:
- Massive battles with hundreds of troops fighting at a time, with you both commanding and actively participating in battle
- Become a mercenary, a valiant knight, a cunning trader, or Calradia’s most notorious tournament champion, as the game gives you full freedom to shape your character
- Explore an entire continent with 8 distinct countries and their cultures - join any one of them or create your own empire from scratch
- Lead an army of hundreds of professional troops or village recruits and watch them grow stronger, with unique progression trees for each culture

Reviews
- Perfect price for a game that’ll be developed further and will probably cost more after it’s out from early access
- The game is aesthetically a HUGE development from the awkward indie 2010 (that -even then- still felt older) graphics, which we all grew to love. The animations seem more realistic, the items more detailed, the campaign map is incredible and the scenery (from the snowy forests of Sturgia to the desert wastelands of the Aserai homeland, and from the rocky Battanian villages to the great cities of the Empire) is beautiful and at times even -dare I say- majestic. Sure, the graphics still don't compare to the other big games of its time, and the character models still look a bit odd, but for a game of a small company like Taleworlds that chooses to focus more on the gameplay and the game's mechanics, you can at least overlook some of their flaws.
