The original Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver was released in 1999, and Soul Reaver 2 followed in 2001. The new version was announced at the State of Play event in September 2024. Aspyr, the studio behind reviving Raziel's adventures, revealed that the game would be released on December 10, 2024.
