Life in Misery isn’t easy

MISERY is a brutal, atmospheric co-op roguelite survival game set in the bleak aftermath of nuclear war - a place where the line between science and madness has long since dissolved. Inspired by Lethal Company and S.T.A.L.K.E.R., it challenges you and your squad to endure the horrors of the Zaslavie Exclusion Zone, scavenging for survival while holding onto the last fragments of your sanity.

You are part of a private military company stationed at SIRZEZ - the Scientific Institute for Research of the Zaslavie Exclusion Zone. Built before the war to study strange anomalies and their mysterious artifacts, the institute now lies on the edge of a radioactive wasteland. When the sirens blare, signaling an incoming nuclear strike, you have just 60 seconds to grab what you can and run for the bunker. What awaits outside afterward is pure misery.

Survive the unthinkable

Once the blast passes, the world above becomes a twisted expanse of ruins and radiation. Each expedition into the Zone takes you to procedurally generated environments - abandoned military bases, derelict research stations, crumbling cities, and mutant-infested forests.
You’ll never know what’s waiting in the fog - radiation storms, predatory mutants, hostile scavengers, or the unpredictable anomalies that warp space and time itself.

No one truly understands these phenomena - some can shield or heal you, while others rip matter apart. Yet within them lie artifacts, rare items infused with strange powers that can alter your body and mind… if you survive long enough to claim them.

The Zone preys not only on your body but on your mind. Hunger, thirst, radiation poisoning - they’re constant threats. But the real danger is the psychological decay. Spend too long in the Zone and you’ll start hearing whispers, seeing shadows that move on their own, and feeling something unseen breathing down your neck. Paranoia spreads quickly, and even your trusted teammates might turn on you.

Every day is a gamble: do you risk another scavenging run for supplies, or hole up in the bunker and pray the nightmares don’t find a way in?
