Become a scavenger

You are a Company employee on contract. To achieve the Company's profit quota, you must collect scrap from abandoned, industrialized moons. You can save your money and use it to travel to new moons with larger risks and rewards, or you can spend it to buy extravagant suits and decorations for your spacecraft. Explore nature, scanning whatever species you come across to add to your bestiary. Investigate the magnificent outdoors and rummage around their decrepit, steel, and concrete underbelly. Just make sure you never go over your quota.

These perils prey on the helpless and lonesome, and your crew's protection may be your only hope. You can direct your crewmates from your spacecraft, using the radar to signal traps and the ship's console to unlock remotely locked doors--or you can all go in together. Lights, shovels, walkie-talkies, stun grenades, and boomboxes are all available in the Company store.
