There are two types of individuals in the world: those who follow the law and those who don't. From birth, Tona Ramirez was the second kind. She inherited her father's nickname and the tale of a man defrauded of his wealth when she buried him in an unmarked cemetery near the border. The Rat's current quest for wealth is what led her to Louisiana.

Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a new era of the addictively unforgiving extraction shooter. In corrupted backwaters lost to history, fight back alone – or with friends – against timeless evil. Twisted monsters and other ruthless Hunters stand between you and your Bounty. Risk everything as Hunt consumes you. Prepare for:

• New Map – Mammon's Gulch, a whole new biome set in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
  
• New Wild Target – the Hellborn is Hunt's newest Wild Target which uses an onslaught of fiery attacks. Once downed, the Hellborn will grant a Bounty Token with no Banish time.
  
• Scorched Earth – a new Live Event giving players brand-new rewards to earn.
  
• New CRYEINGINE 5.11 integration – ushering in upgraded visuals, audio, performance, and more.
  
• New UI - overhauled to improve navigation, with plenty more updates to come.
