In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind, the gang goes up against a robotic reincarnation of the Power Rangers' long-time foe. Robo Rita has created a vortex to transport herself back in time, allowing her to ultimately defeat the Power Rangers by establishing an alliance with her younger self. Robo Rita and Rita Repulsa collaborate to rewind, rewrite, and remix the past in order to prevent the Power Rangers from being formed, so altering the path of history.

Will the two Ritas and their army of monstrous enemies from throughout the MMPR history ever defeat the Power Rangers? Or will these attitude-laden youngsters learn to work together to counteract this disastrous chronological collaboration?
