A catastrophic event has knocked you out during the first day on the job… you wake up equipped with a heavy-grade exoskeleton, in a destroyed section of the complex. Robots gone haywire, insane augmented co-workers and rogue AI - everything wants you dead.
Defy deadly enemies and huge bosses in tight, visceral melee combat. Target and slice specific limbs off your foes, with a next-gen loot system where you loot what you dismember. Equip, upgrade and craft new weapons and armors sliced from enemies, and make yourself stronger through a fresh take on leveling-up.

Reviews
- User bought The Surge EN/DE/FR/IT/PL/PT/RU/ES Global from Pumpkin KaariageEverything about this game is good. Graphics are decent, combat is fluid (once you get the hang of it), gameplay - boss fights, upgrade system, exploration, death and rebirth cycle, music, sound. storyline - EVERYTHING. Is it a notch below Dark Souls? Yeah maybe, but being slightly less than perfect is certainly worth a purchase.

Criticism - some parts of the combat system aren't fully fleshed out, you can safely play the entire game and never perform the duck/jump maneuvers from blocking.

It's more like the first Dark Souls than anything else, even than some of the other Souls games, with it's heavily integrated levels that keep you opening up shortcuts to the places you've already been, and I loved that. Except Sci-Fi!
