The Last Caretaker (PC) Steam Key Europe

You are the last chance

You are humanity’s final hope - a reawakened machine built to safeguard what remains of a dying world. The oceans have swallowed the Earth, and only the rusting skeletons of ancient megastructures remain above the waves. Beneath this endless blue, the future of the human race lies dormant, waiting for you to bring it back to life.

Explore a hauntingly beautiful ocean planet where remnants of civilization stand as monuments to humanity’s ambition — and failure. The world is vast, mysterious, and alive, filled with secrets buried deep beneath the waves. Scavenge for resources among the wreckage of forgotten cities and reawaken dormant technologies to aid in your mission.

The Last Caretaker is not just about surviving; it’s about uncovering what was lost — and deciding what deserves to return.

Harness a deep and intricate crafting system built around scarcity and consequence. Every material gathered and every tool forged matters. Construct modular systems, upgrade your mobile platform, and repair the colossal Lazarus Complex — humanity’s final cradle. Balance your limited resources between exploration, defense, and reconstruction as you shape your path toward salvation.

Defend the last sanctuary

The Lazarus Complex is not safe. Rogue machines and environmental threats close in from every direction. Build automated defenses, strengthen your mobile platform, and deploy countermeasures to repel attackers and withstand cataclysmic storms.
Every strategic decision affects the survival of the human seeds. One breach, one failure, and humanity’s final hope could be lost forever.

Your ultimate mission: restore the ancient MOSES launch infrastructure - a vast orbital system designed to carry reborn humans beyond the drowned Earth.
Scavenge for lost launch codes. Refine fuel. Rebuild navigation AIs. Each successful launch is a fragile triumph, sending the next generation into the stars with your guidance - and your memories.

But every launch carries risk. Will you sacrifice efficiency for safety, or gamble everything for one final chance at redemption?

The Last Caretaker redefines the survival-crafting genre, blending resource management, exploration, and emotional storytelling into one seamless experience. Every choice you make - from what you build to whom you save - echoes through the world.
