somehow the game run on my potato pc on medium setting and most of the options enabled on 1600x900 (60fps)<br>i have i3 3rd gen , r7 250x 2gb and 8 GB of ram<br> really fun but IMO the zombies take too much head shoot to actually die ( some took around 10 bullets in the head to die) except for that , the game is worth it <br>8/10

I never played the original game nor any other RE titles at all, but this game exceeded my expectations by far and proofed that it deserved the horror genre. I was rarely feeling that unsettling while playing a game like I was with RE2. Recommended for all horror and RE fans!

I'm after going through a demo. This game is not only about remake, but also about introducing news. This is not the same as the original, so you can be surprised. Great graphics and great atmosphere. There is the opportunity to play two campaigns as Leon or Claire.

This game is so addictive. At first I was apprehensive about playing the game. I'm not a fan of dying and having to restart from the last save point, even less so being chased in a video game. Once I started playing it however I realised it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The game mechanics and graphic overhaul of the remake in the RE engine are absolutely stunning and it mostly stays true to the original story.

Loved every single minute of playing.<br><br>To people complaining that this game isn't a 1:1 recreation of the original for the psx; I think that this version is amazing in it's own way. Rather than getting the same game again we got a interesting re-telling of the story. Love them both.

Essential for fans of the saga and a very good gateway (as is my case) if you have not played before. This new installment presents the history of the original game with an impressive technical update and some changes in the gameplay that adapt it to the more than 20 years that have passed since its premiere. It's completely worth it for its replayability: two stories seen from different angles + new game 2 (with changes to the puzzles and game elements) + completely free DLCs of different survivors. To get the hang of it, I'm not a big fan of resource management (more than once you have to keep an eye on the bullets you have left, although it is solved by exploring the rest of the level until you find more ammunition). Perhaps there is a specific enemy (not to get into spoilers) quite annoying, which does not provide much fun and becomes a nuisance except in specific situations.

We have seen tons of remake games in the past years, where developers think more about the profits than making a competent game. Games like Megaman being milked are the best example. These remakes never came out as good as the original ones, so I ended up losing hope in them. I said all that to get to Resident Evil 2 Remake and, surprisingly, not only this is the best remake ever, it is also one of the best action / puzzle games released in the couple of years. You never feel it's a remake. Always feels like you are going through a whole new experience. It's fresh. Puzzles are new. Environment is changed. Graphic is eye opening. Action is solid. The game is perfect in so many ways.<br><br>Though I only finished scenario A with Leon, I absolutely loved it. It was amazing. Never imagined it to be this good. Take this word seriously from me, it is maybe as good as the original Resident Evil 2 game.

The game looks very good and everything is very detailed and facial animation is very well done.<br><br> I still found it a little dubious how you need to shoot 3-4 head shots to kill a normal zombie, but as long as you continue to find bullets easily, it's not a problem.<br><br> They managed to keep the atmosphere of the original game, and that's something I enjoy terribly because I really liked the original.

True to its core and more of an action game than previous modern resident evil, its less horor simulator and more action problem solving in the original capcom spirit.<br><br>Visually beautiful, although for some the ultra realistic faces are in the uncanny valley spectrum.
