Pragmata is an action-adventure title from Compom. You will follow the story of Hugh Williams—the sole survivor of a botched rescue op—and a mysterious young android named Diana. Diana, the titular Pragmata, is crafted from a unique substance called Lunafilment, which possesses the incredible property of materializing almost any physical object. To survive, the pair must investigate the secrets of a ruined moon base in a desperate bid to return to Hugh’s home that Diana knows only from tales - Earth.

Combat and technology

The mission unfolds across a lunar outpost, including its streets designed to mirror the sprawling architecture of Earth’s grandest cities. Navigating this environment is perilous, as the entire facility is under the hostile control of a rogue artificial intelligence known as IDUS. Prepare for dynamic fights that require blending Hugh’s combat experience with Diana’s technical prowess. Use her hacking skills to identify enemy flaws and bypass the complex security systems blocking your path.

Finding Shelter

In moments of defeat or when the journey demands a reprieve, you can retreat to the Shelter. This secure hideout serves as a hub where Hugh and Diana process the data and materials scavenged during their missions. At this base, you can develop advanced upgrades, manufacture high-tech equipment via 3D printing, and swap out character cosmetics. You’ll also be assisted by Cabin, a support droid with a distinct personality.

Launch Timeline and Compatibility

Crafted and published by Capcom, Pragmata was initially scheduled to hit shelves on April 24, 2026. Early March, Capcom revealed it had accelerated the timeline, moving the official release date up to April 17, 2026. The game is available on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
