Shogo doesn't believe Yoko when she says the Mysteries are linked to the Ritual of Resurrection and doesn't pay any attention to it - that is, until misterious occurrences begin to unfold in front of his very eyes. Meanwhile, others are conducting their own inquiries into The Seven Secrets... Investigators looking into a string of bizarre deaths, a high school student looking for answers about her classmate's suicide, and a mother vowing vengeance for her son's death. Their wants and motivations intersect and interact, with the Seven Secrets of Honjo at the heart of the plot, leading to a battle of wits and curses.
