History meets magic

Nioh 3 is the third installment in the series created by Team Ninja. Like its predecessors, it combines the history of feudal Japan with magic and mythology. The year is 1622, and Tokugawa Takechiyo, a grandson of the famous Tokugawa Ieyasu, is about to become the next shogun. Unfortunately, his jealous brother sides with the demon forces to overthrow Jim. As a result, Tekechiyo has to embark on a thrilling quest on which he’ll fight legendary yokai and encounter historical figures, such as Hanzō Hattori and Saitō Fuku.

Journey across time

You’ll follow Takechiyo as he travels across time to shape the future and face the ultimate foe known as The Crucible. Each period will give you a chance to explore a vast open field, where you’ll find side quests that diversify your adventure and make it less linear.

Fight like a ninja or samurai

Legions of bloodthirsty demons will try to stop his journey. Nioh 3 presents new ways to deal with them, as the game features two diverse combat styles: samurai and ninja. The former gives players weapon stances and resembles what players know from the previous two installments, while the newcomer ninja playstyle allows them to strike lightning-fast blows and perform range attacks. You can freely switch between both playstyles to find the perfect way to emerge victorious in every battle.
