Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is an action-adventure game that follows Samus Aran, a renowned bounty hunter, on her next exciting mission. You will travel to a mysterious planet called Viewros. It brims with life and greenery, yet this ancient jungle is full of dangers that can surprise even elite warriors. And if it wasn't enough, Samus will have to deal with the alien race of Lamoran and a relentless bounty hunter, Sylux.

You're not alone

Samus will have to explore this uncharted land of Viewros to find her way home. Using gadgets will be indispensable to scan the area and find clues that are blocking your path, while weapons will let you find hostile alien creatures and other enemies. Moreover, these mysterious planets will grant her powerful psychic abilities, opening a variety of new possibilities.

Release date and platforms

Nintendo officially announced Metroid Prime 4 at E3 in June 2017, but the first trailer was presented seven years later, in June 2024. The company announced that the game would come out in 2025. It will be available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
