Hitman 2 is an upcoming stealth video game developed by IO Interactive and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It will be the seventh entry in the Hitman video game series and is the sequel to the 2016 game Hitman. The game is scheduled to be released on 13 November 2018.
After the events of its 2016 predecessor, Hitman, Agent 47 embarks on a mission to hunt the mysterious Shadow Client and disassemble his militia, while also discovering the hidden truth about his past.
Hitman 2's gameplay will be similar to its 2016 predecessor, as Agent 47, a contract assassin working for the International Contract Agency (ICA), travels to various locations around the globe to eliminate high-profile targets. The game features six missions, which are set in six distinct locations. One of the missions in the game will take place at a racecourse in Miami, the U.S. The game introduces concussive gadgets, which can be used to render an NPC unconscious, and reintroduces the briefcase, which allows the player to conceal and carry large weapons, such as sniper rifles, in public without arousing suspicion.
The game's announcement was accompanied by the release of a cooperative multiplayer mode titled Sniper Assassin, available immediately to those who pre-order Hitman 2. This mode will also be bundled with all copies of Hitman 2 when the game releases. In this mode, players are tasked with eliminating targets using a sniper rifle within a set time limit. In addition to Agent 47, players can play as Knight and Stone, both of whom have access to unique ammo types. This mode can also be played solo.
The game was announced on 7 June 2018 during a live stream by WB Games. Hitman 2 is scheduled for release on 13 November 2018, although those who pre-order the game's gold edition or collector's edition gain access to the game four days early: on 9 November. Unlike its predecessor, Hitman 2 will not be episodic.
The game will have two paid expansions following its release, adding locations, missions, sniper maps, outfits, and weapons.

Everything in the game is an enjoyable challenge, either in terms of the stealth, or the combat, or perhaps just the problem solving. You can drop the difficulty and still have to find devious ways to off a particularly challenging target but without worrying so much about the execution of your chosen method. If you want it all to be rock hard, that’s there too. The game caters for all needs and provides lavish dollops of fun and joy to all who partake in the delights offered. With the mission stories, the delightfully vibrant maps and the challenges there’s just so much to keep you coming back for more too. Add to that the seemingly infinite methods of killing, the variety of tools to help you achieve that perfect death and all the other fun things you can play about with (throwing coins is one thing, but blueberry muffins?), then the Hitman 2 package demonstrates its brilliance with alarming regularity. This is the best Hitman game.<br>

- Hitman 2 is a stealth game. You play as Agent 47 who must assassinate several targets over the world. Although the game has only about 8 different areas, they are huge and provide you with multiple ways to get to your target. Each area has tons of challenges and unlockables so you are going to spend a lot of time discovering new things even though you are playing on the same map.<br>If you own Hitman 1, you can download and play its maps in Hitman 2 for free. This is really useful since Hitman 2 introduces a few new mechanics, such as NPCs being able to see you through mirrors and reflections.<br>Overall this is a really fun game and you should treat it more of a "sandbox" instead of something really serious.
