Visually stunning and good sound design that create suspence, thril and scariness when needed. Gameplay is nothing new, fundamentally a first-person shooter, but enjoyable, certain mechanics are quite tedious like the "sealing", the consuming of consumables and soul absorbing/tranferring, it is reasonably realistic but tedious. The story is nothing ground breaking, but reasonably well written. The lore behind the religion and monsters in Japanese culture was a cool set piece for the gameplay.
