There is a serious threat to New Edinburgh. Now that the Old Captain has been overthrown and the city's grounds are shaking, it's your turn to assume leadership as the First Citizen. A periodic Vote of Trust will act as a physical check on your approval rating, so proceed with caution. And a nearby colony situated on a frozen lake is the sole safe haven when unrest breaks out and volcanic ash covers the sky.

Will you build trust or unleash hellfire as the conflagration approaches? Unity can emerge from the same fire that destroys.

About the base game:

Frostpunk 2 is a city-building survival game set 30 years after its exceptionally successful predecessor. Humanity managed to survive the cold apocalypse, but even though extinction is not a threat anymore, you will have to face new challenges to make your city flourish in the frostbitten world of Frostpunk.

During the climate crisis, when everything was covered in ice and snow, coal seemed to be the only help for Frostland. In Frostunk 2, the hope lies in petroleum. Unfortunately, factions operating in your city have opposite ideas about utilizing its potential. As a leader, you'll have to navigate through their ambitions and find a way to overcome all obstacles. However, besides the new challenges, new possibilities have arisen. You can make your metropolis much bigger than before. Design new districts, each with a vital role that is crucial for your city to thrive.
