About the base game:

Battlestate Games, the developers and the publishers of Escape from Tarkov, invite you to the fictional Norvinsk’s region Special Economic Zone. After a political scandal, which caused an armed conflict involving UN peacekeepers, Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and private military companies, the region’s borders got sealed off.

Isolated from the world

The borders of Tarkov got closed, but there are still people trapped inside, including yourself. As the days pass, the situation inside the borders gets more and more complicated. The local population floods the city in a massive panic, and the savage Tarkov’s inhabitants called “Scavs” formed well-armed gangs and are up to take charge of the city.

Choose your side

In this online first-person action RPG/Simulator with MMO features, players have to choose their side. You can either join USEC, a military company employed by the notorious Terra Group, or decide to accompany BEAR, forces allegedly created on direct orders of the Russian government and employed to uncover any evidence of Terra Group’s activity.

Explore the closed territory

During the gameplay, you’ll be able to explore the city of Tarkov and its surroundings, including blocks, chemical plant area, AA military zone base, or private living zone. You’ll also be capable of reaching the concealed locations – reserve facilities and stocks, sealed Terra Group offices, and underground warehouses.
