FC Points are the premium in-game currency of EA Sports FC 27. Spend them on:

• Premium Passes for the seasonal reward track,
• Football Ultimate Team content: Packs, Stadium customisation items, Evolutions slots and Draft entries,
• The Grounds content, including cosmetics, Archetype card backgrounds and Consumables.

FC Points are optional and not required to play Ultimate Team. Using them requires the base game and FC Points purchases are not available in Belgium or South Korea.

About the base game

This is the fourth instalment of the EA Sports FC series and the successor to FC 26, with Kylian Mbappé on the Standard Edition cover. Its worldwide release date is 25 September 2026. Changes based on community feedback reach every mode, from the way you defend to how you build a squad or run a club.

Control where it counts

Defending sees the biggest shift. Auto tackles are gone and AI defenders have less influence, leaving jockeying, tackle timing and positioning in your hands. Going forward, teammates read space better and make overlapping and underlapping runs, either on their own or on command.

Step into The Grounds

A new social hub where street football meets the stadium. Kickabouts, 1v1s and Clubs share one open space, with renowned football mentors to learn from and plenty of room for self-expression on and off the pitch. The Grounds is available on current-generation platforms only.

Fresh ideas in familiar modes

Ultimate Team adds the FUT Gallery, where you curate favourite Player Items to raise your Gallery Level and unlock rewards, plus the Hall of FUT – a new item type honouring community cult heroes such as Adebayo Akinfenwa and Marouane Fellaini. Career fans get a fully rebuilt Transfer Market, player ratings that shift through Dynamic OVR and the option to design Manager Live Challenges and share them with friends. In Player Career, Rivalries pit you against teammates for a starting place.

The licences behind it

Over 21,000 players, 800+ clubs and national teams, 140 stadiums and 35+ leagues form the roster. Continental competition runs from the UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League to the CONMEBOL Libertadores, while domestic football covers the Premier League, Bundesliga, LALIGA EA SPORTS and Poland’s Ekstraklasa. Liga MX also returns for the first time since FIFA 22.
