Call of Cthulhu, the official video game inspired by Chaosium's classic pen and paper RPG, brings you deep into a world of creeping madness and shrouded Old Gods within Lovecraft's iconic universe.
1924. Private Investigator Pierce is sent to look into the tragic death of the Hawkins family on the isolated Darkwater Island. Soon enough, Pierce is pulled into a terrifying world of conspiracies, cultists, and cosmic horrors.
Nothing is as it seems. Sanity is an irregular bedfellow, all too often replaced by whisperings in the dark. Strange creatures, weird science, and sinister cults dominate the Cthulhu Mythos, intent on realizing their mad schemes to bring about the end of everything.
Your mind will suffer - between sanity and psychosis, your senses will be disrupted until you question the reality of everything around you. Trust no one. Slinking shadows hide lurking figures… and all the while, the Great Dreamer prepares for his awakening.

Reviews
- In general I found it to be a very interesting game and that I especially recommend to any horror fan. I especially enjoyed the detective parts and the rebuilding of the scene, although the gameplay fails in some parts: for example, at one point I found a key that I knew I was going to have to use and it wouldn't let me grab it until an NPC stopped by. a specific task and I spoke with her at the time, the whole sector in general of the game that made me take unnecessary turns to stretch the playing time. Without a doubt, his strengths are the mythology that he handles, the parts where he acts as a detective and the evolution towards the end where, as expected, reality is blurred. The animations and character designs may not be the best for the standard of the time, but they are more than acceptable, the sound works well.
