Once upon a time...

This dark arts trainee made a perilous trek into the forbidden Avalon Forest long before she would come to be known as Bayonetta. Beside her was Cheshire, her first demon, carrying Cereza's plush animal. Take on the roles of Cereza and Cheshire as you explore the perilous woodland in pursuit of the ability to save Cereza's mother. 

The relationship between the Umbra Witches of darkness and the Lumen Sages of light gave birth to this lone maiden. Cereza has been called an outcast because there is a strong no-talk policy between these two clans. Her biggest dream is to grow strong enough to eventually support her mother Rosa, who is incarcerated.
