ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree (PC) Steam Key Global

Interactive story

Midgard has been abandoned by the Gods. Once a thriving nation rich with magical monsters and beings, it is now decaying from within, poisoned by unknown powers. Odin's selected realm protectors have vanished. The holy Elder Tree they pledged to safeguard is vulnerable to abuse and exploitation in their absence. Estra, the daughter of humanity's last great leader, is now the last source of hope. Estra's adventure across Midgard is loaded with Norse history, enigmatic turns, and momentous decisions, with a major emphasis on storytelling. Interact with a range of individuals and partake in Estra's discoveries as she learns more about her family's history and the approaching evil that is sweeping the world.

Solve puzzles and fight

Estra's journey is filled with perilous choices and untrustworthy persons who might lead her astray. Her tale is connected with the player's ability to distinguish between reality and fiction and good and wrong. Avoid war, assist comrades, and save your people, but keep in mind that the repercussions will be Estra's to bear. You must solve increasingly difficult puzzles along the journey, which disclose profound secrets, extraordinary powers, and hidden passages. While trial and error are beneficial, patience is required. Not every situation allows for repeated errors, and failure is always a possibility. If you make the incorrect option, you may lose the answers you seek. Violence isn't always required, but when it is, ATONE's battle is a graceful ballet of sword and axe. Combat is based on the rhythm game genre and mechanics found in games such as Guitar Hero and Dance Dance Revolution. Music is an important component, with each duel having its own tune.
