American Hero is the never-released, over-the-top FMV game that puts you in the starring role of a wild Hollywood action flick. Originally created for the Atari Jaguar CD and lost for over 25 years, this remastered cult classic is back — bigger, bolder, and more outrageous than ever.

Step into the shoes of Jack, a handsome, jaded ex-intelligence officer dragged out of retirement for one last mission: stop the villainous virologist Krueger before he unleashes a mind-controlling virus on Los Angeles. With spies, henchmen, and assassins around every corner, every split-second choice you make will guide Jack’s fate — and the city’s survival.

Featuring live-action performances from Timothy Bottoms (The Last Picture Show), Daniel Roebuck (The Fugitive), and Musetta Vander (Wild Wild West), American Hero delivers a playable, mile-a-minute action movie packed with bullets, bravado, and bad guys. For this restoration, Timothy Bottoms even returns to reprise Jack’s inner monologue with newly recorded voiceovers.
