About the base game:

Will your mind ever be at ease? In Ad Infinitum, you take on the role of a German soldier haunted by the atrocities of World War I. You strive to interrupt the endless cycle of misery while your mind wanders between recollections of your family home and the trenches on the front. You awaken in your bedroom, unaltered since your adolescence, in a dilapidated and deserted manor house. But then you find yourself in the trenches, with only horrible monsters for company. Immerse yourself in the story of a guy fighting his trauma and demons, unable to distinguish truth from nightmare.
