You must restore your house while battling nightly attacks by swarms of monsters after returning from a hunting trip to see your lands in ruins. If your city collapses and the forces of evil take over the land, you will wake up to start over and reap the benefits of your previous runs: more heroes at your disposal, uncharted territory already discovered, and every chance to advance as you solve the mystery that has you caught in a never-ending cycle of life and death.

Hordes of monsters rush towards your gates as night falls, becoming more ferocious as the night goes on, and try to destroy everything you've constructed.
