Forestrike is a martial arts roguelite inspired by classic kung fu cinema - where every encounter is unique, every defeat is a lesson, and every run brings you one step closer to mastery.

You play as Yu, a wandering martial artist on a mission to free the Emperor from the corrupt grip of a ruthless Admiral. But the road ahead is filled with deadly disciples, overwhelming odds, and challenges no amount of training alone can overcome.

That’s where Foresight comes in - a mysterious inner technique that allows Yu to rehearse each battle within the fortress of his mind. Study enemy patterns, test strategies, and prepare without consequences. But once the real fight begins, there are no second chances. Every move matters, because failure means starting the journey anew.

To endure the trials ahead, Yu will need careful planning and clever resource management. Navigate a randomly generated world map, choosing when to push forward and when to rest at Inns, while seeking wisdom from wandering Masters who can shape Yu’s future.

Along the way, Yu will train under five eccentric Masters, each granting powerful techniques and permanent upgrades. Mix and match your growing toolkit to craft a personalized fighting style - and pursue the ultimate triumph: victory without relying on Foresight at all.
