About the base game:

Embark on an intense journey through the dark, science fiction universe of The Surge 2, a gripping sequel where machines have turned against humanity. The story begins as the protagonist's plane crashes due to a devastating nanostorm over the suburbs of Jericho City. Weeks later, the hero awakens in a ruined prison, only to find the metropolis in utter chaos. Rampant rogue robots have led to the imposition of martial law, leaving the citizens to fend for themselves.
