About the base game:
Tales of Arise is the latest title in the Tales series of fantasy action RPG games developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game features gorgeous anime-inspired graphics consistent with the previous installments in the series and takes the player on a magical journey as they help solve the conflict between two worlds - Dahna and Rena.
Tales of Arise received favorable reviews and won the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2021. Considered by many to be the best Tales game since Tales of Symphonia released, Tales of Arise will definitely charm veteran players of the series with its vibrant world, mystical setting, and captivating story.
Dahna and Rena - Twin Worlds in Conflict
In Tales of Arise, players are thrown right in the middle of a conflict between the world of Dahna - a medieval world, the inhabitants of which have been enslaved for over 300 years by the Rena people. Renans live in a world of technological advancement, using everything in their arsenal to exert power and control over the Dahna people, separating the natives of the land with walls into areas and districts.
