About the base game

The highly-anticipated follow-up to the critically acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has finally arrived, titled Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The previous game centered on Cal Kestis, a young Jedi, and was released in 2019. Fans had been eagerly anticipating a sequel, which would be the spiritual successor to the Jedi Knight series. The characters, including Cal, were well-liked by players, making them eager for a sequel.

Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts announced Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in May 2022. The game follows on from its predecessor, with some of the same characters such as Cal, his adorable droid BD-1, and Jedi Knight Cere Junda making a reappearance. Set five years after the events of the first game, Cal faces new threats and adversaries, and has access to new Jedi powers, such as time-freezing and riding animals. Using the latest technology, including ray tracing, the game's graphics are arguably the most impressive of any Star Wars video game.
