About the base game:

In the latest high-speed adventure from Sonic the Hedgehog must save the colliding worlds! While looking for the missing Chaos emeralds, Sonic gets stuck on a long-gone island populated by strange monsters. Discover the secrets of an old civilization's ruins besieged by robotic hordes! Go out on the world-saving quest to protect your companions and all the mystifying Starfall Islands' residents from a mechanized enemy.

Race over five enormous islands filled with lush woods, gushing rivers, and scorching desert settings, each with its own distinct action-platforming challenges and undiscovered mysteries.

Gameplay

At the speed that only Sonic can provide, explore the Starfall Islands and take advantage of everything each one has to offer. Explore the island's portals to enter Cyber Space levels, which include characteristic 3D platforming at Sonic speeds and thus are jam-packed with obstacles to test your fighting spirit. Draw your own path, find side quests, solve puzzles, scale massive structures, go fishing, and bump into a few friendly faces along the way as you go.
