Screamer, a legendary racing series of the 90s, returns in a brand new form. The reimagined version of the iconic title is set in a futuristic world where streets are beaming with neon lights. The story revolves around a mysterious tournament. To succeed, you will have to prove more than your driving skills, as Screamer features innovative fighting mechanics.

Besides thrilling races, Screamer offers a gripping story full of colorful characters. Anime aesthetic is another of the game's distinctive features. Screamer's cut scenes were created by a renowned animation studio, Polygon Pictures, to ensure the highest quality. Among voices starring in Screamer, you will hear Troy Baker, the voice of Joel Miller (The Last of Us), Pagan Min (Far Cry 4), Sam Drake (Uncharted 4), and Booker DeWitt (BioShock Infinite), to mention only a few of his outstanding roles.

Release date and platforms

Screamer, developed and published by Milestone, was revealed during The Game Awards in December 2024. The game will be released for PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PlayStation 5 in 2026. The exact release date hasn't been announced yet.
