The alternate reality

During the fight with Dr. Nefarious, Ratchet, accompanied by his mechanical friend Clank,  accidentally destroys the device for interdimensional travel. The disaster results in the destruction of reality and causes the alternate realities to overlap and create portals between each other. Through one of them, Ratchet and Clank fall into a whole new realm.

Meet Rivet

The new realm is a dystopian world ruled by Dr. Nefarious. As our heroes need a helping hand to clean up all the alternate reality mess, they decide to join forces with Rivet, a member of the resistance movement against the mad dictator. During the gameplay, you’ll be able to play as both, Ratchet and Rivet.

New mechanics

The core of the gameplay is well-known to those familiar with previous installments. The new thing is the enhanced mobility of characters, which now can perform double-jump or draw themselves to anchor points. With the DualSense controller, the game offers alternative mechanics of shooting, which makes combat even more engaging.
