Experience two new campaigns in Axis Operations 1944 DLC. The first campaign is based on historical events and portrays the struggles of the German Wehrmacht as it faces relentless attacks from the Allied forces on multiple fronts. On the other hand, the second campaign is an alternate history scenario where players can defend their conquests in the Caucasus region against new challenges.

Both campaigns are readily available to all players, without any barriers or prerequisites. Whether players have a newly formed Panzer Corps or established forces, they can immediately start exploring their chosen campaign path. However, experienced campaigners are advised to stick to their previous campaign path to fully immerse themselves in the extensive narratives of the DLC content.

Two Grand Campaigns

Take the opportunity to immerse yourself in both historical and ahistorical campaigns, each of which is independent of the other. The historical campaign depicts the German Wehrmacht's decline as it attempts to withstand the Allied forces attacking from all sides. On the other hand, the ahistorical campaign continues from the success of the Caucasus region and aims to protect the conquered territories from familiar and new challenges. The DLC offers a massive 20 scenarios that allow players to explore the Eastern Front's battles and Operation Bagration, providing a real historical experience. Moreover, the ahistorical campaign offers players a unique and original content path, which picks up where the Axis Operations 1943 DLC left off and takes them on an adventure filled with potential successes and setbacks that the German Wehrmacht may have faced.

Marshal Erwin Rommel returns

One of the most prominent figures in the German Wehrmacht, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, is heavily featured in the campaign. However, despite his legendary status, Rommel's story during 1944 was not one of glory on the battlefield. The DLC seeks to bring these historical figures to life by drawing on their real-life memoirs and thoughts to influence their behavior and dialogue in the game.
