The new beginning

However, this time, the story takes some unexpected turns that you will experience in a cinematic Story Mode. If you don't need a plot in a fighting game, you may choose Challange Tower, classic Ladder, Test Your Might, and other game modes. Each win will let you explore the Krypt hiding tons of unlockable content, such as alternate costumes and concept arts.

Has its issues, but should play well on medium and low end pcs. Great start to the new Mortal Kombat series. Worth it at a good price.

I have 32,5 h , and almost finished story (Shao Khan is a really hard opponent even on easy). Story starts where the classic saga begins - Earthrealm signs to Mortal Kombat to protect herself from Underworld on 1 battle Raiden gains vision of future events that will lead to Armageddon and decides to prevent this. Game offers many modes ( Tag Batttle, where you can shift combatants, classic and challenge tower mode even the classic mini-games like test your might and many more). Tutorial simply teaches every mechanic of the game even the new X-ray move which make you see limbs and bones of your foe crushed by a effective combo. The multi most time works good ( Ihad only one lag match and dissconnect) and it's fun. problem is that sometimes the game response to input is very laggy, it only happens on multi. The pierce is cheap, and as MK fan i strongly recommend to buy it
