The new era

Mortal Kombat 1 is the 12th installment in the iconic fighting game series. It continues the story of the MK11 Aftermath expansion and begins when Liu Kang becomes the Fire God and resets the universe, making it a blank canvas. As a result, everything is possible in the rebooted world. For instance, Sub-Zero and Scorpion may be bitter foes or forge a powerful alliance.

Release date

Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on September 19, 2023. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch.

Gameplay
