The story

You and the Research Commission must investigate the source of a mysterious song heard across the New World and why certain species suddenly migrated. As you travel, the clues lead you to the icy subcontinent. You and your companions have to discover what caused the odd phenomena.

You’ll meet a plethora of new creatures who have mastered survival in the low temperatures of Hoarfrost Reach. From Velkhan to Nargacugami, each monster features previously unseen abilities that will test your monster-hunting abilities. With a new gadget to use, the clutch claw, you’ll be able to climb the monsters and temporarily control them to your advantage. You can also stun your opponents with the Flinch Shot!
