About the base game:

A recreation of a 90s classic, Master of Magic combines strategy and role-playing games. Play the role of one of the 14 distinctive and powerful great wizards competing for supremacy over the Arcanus and Myror worlds. Select a school of magic and a fantasy race to command, then take control of your minions and enlarge your sphere of influence and power. Assemble and control powerful armies of elves, dragons, dwarves, orcs, and others. Cast spells of great strength to aid them. Fight tactical turn-based battles and use magic to influence the outcome. Use your abilities to execute rituals, learn new spells, experiment with alchemy, and alter the environment around you. Always be on the lookout for your opponent's schemes, as they aim to accomplish the same goals - but in the end, always keep in mind that there can only be one Master of Magic.
