About the base game:

Headquarters: World War II is a fast-paced, turn-based strategy game that includes several skirmishes and three plot-driven campaigns that cover the Battle of Normandy. To defeat the opposition, pick your side, organize your forces, designate heroes, raise the unit's level, and apply the skills from Headquarters.

Completing three campaigns totaling nine operations will allow you to see both sides of the story.  The game includes campaigns from the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany that are all set during the war's Normandy invasion.

The fighting system in the game is built around an easy to learn, hard to master philosophy. It appears quite simple at first, but it has many options. Unreal Engine 4 is used to construct all units and scenery with the utmost attention to detail, resulting in an extremely realistic visual style.
