When is Forspoken coming out?

Square Enix and Luminous Productions bring us a completely new IP in which we will discover the magical universe of Athia. Forspoken came out on January 24, 2023, and is available on PC and PlayStation 5.

Teleported to a different universe

Action role-playing game Forspoken, previously known as Project Athia, is set in the devastated world of Athia. As Frey Holland, a young woman who was miraculously moved from New York City to this fantastical world, you can explore the vast, open world. Frey also acquired a mystery bracelet that gave her magical abilities. Frey only wants to return home, but destiny has much bigger plans for her.

The plague that corrupts everything

The dangerous realm of bloodthirsty monsters known as Athia has not always existed. This land was once prosperous, but the Break happened. The realm was ravaged by this terrible calamity, which also transformed people and animals into monstrosities. Frey unintentionally develops into a hero who can restore Athia to its previous splendor. She must master her recently discovered abilities, venture into four dangerous regions, and vanquish Tantas, the corrupted sorceresses that rule Athia, in order to reach this final objective.

Magical parkour and dynamic battle system

Due to her special magic parkour skills, Frey can travel quickly and easily through Athia's challenging terrain. Our female protagonist is able to flip between two schools of magic when engaged in combat with enemies. Frey's magic is purple and concentrates on ranged powers, while Sila's magic is red and focuses on melee. Skills from a spidery skill tree can be quickly equipped into slots for offense and defense using a customizable radial menu. They appear as combination attacks or magical weapons, similar to those in Devil May Cry 5. We wholeheartedly advise watching a lengthy gameplay trailer to have a better understanding of Forspoken's dynamic mechanics.
