Nightreign is a standalone spin-off set in the reimagined, chaotic world of the Elden Ring universe. Launching on May 30, 2025, for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One/Series X|S, and PC, this game combines action-RPG and roguelike elements, offering shorter, high-stakes runs instead of a sprawling open-world campaign. Players explore Limveld, a twisted version of Limgrave, where the catastrophic "Primordial Night" has destabilized reality and unleashed monstrous threats. As a “Nightfarer,” you’ll choose from preset hero archetypes with unique skills and abilities, teaming up with up to two companions (or going solo) to navigate procedurally generated maps, gather loot, and survive multi-day/night cycles.
