The graphics are nice, the soundtrack totally fits the setting without drawing too much attention and the gameplay is really rewarding. You won't even realise how time goes by while playing!

Visuals are very good, camera control is fluid and intuitive, interface and order queueing / execution is comfy and feels natural.<br><br>The levels are not always huge but they FEEL big, which is what matters. The character abilities and enemy / puzzle setups always feel rewarding and fun when they mesh together. Plenty of separate difficulty sliders mean you can tweak the game just right so it's the most enjoyable at your level of ability. Saving and reloading is snappy and you can go crazy, experimenting with any idea you have, which is important.<br><br>Minimi have really outdone themselves with this game. Their previous title - Blades of the Shogun, was already great, but Desperados 3 is a further step up to greatness.
- Desperados 3 is an average looking game. I liked that it looked less comic-like than Shadow Tactics, but one shouldn’t expect a level of detail like in one Red Dead Redemption 2. Decent, but nothing more than that. The same can be said for the sound in the game, and that part disappointed me the most if I look at this as a continuation of the game from the beginning of the century.<br><br>Simply put, my voice acting is worse than in the original. I know Cooper is younger here, but his raspy voice from the original is something that marked him as a character and everything else now sounds a shade worse. It’s similar to Docom who sounds like he’s overeating instead of really being irritated by other people.
