About the base game:

Hideo Kojima takes us back to a world devastated by a disaster known as Death Stranding. In the first game, Sam helped human colonies in America connect. Unfortunately, humankind is still on the brink of extinction, and its fight for survival is far from over. Hence, the protagonist must continue his work. In Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Sam associates with an organization called Drawbridge that tries to include new territories in the network. However, it means new challenges and dangers.

Release date

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was officially revealed at the State of Play event on January 31, 2024. It was announced that it would come out in 2025. The game will initially be available exclusively on the PlayStation 5 console.

Outstanding cast

The cast of the first Death Stranding game returned for the sequel. It means, once again, we assume the role of Sam, portrayed by Norman Reedus, and meet characters played by Léa Seydoux and Troy Baker. They were joined by Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna. Moreover, director George Miller, the creator of the Mad Max series, was also involved in the project.
