Will you prevent nuclear war?

The year is 1965, and the world teeters on the edge of nuclear catastrophe. When a Soviet Yak-27 reconnaissance jet crash lands on the remote Svalbard Islands, NATO and Warsaw Pact forces scramble to recover the wreckage — each racing to gain the upper hand in a dangerous game of espionage and brinkmanship.

Take command of both Soviet and NATO battle groups in a gripping 12-mission campaign where every decision could ignite global conflict.

About the base game:

Command: Modern Operations is a sequel to a warfare simulation game, Command: Modern Air/Naval Operations. In the new installment, you’ll find all the scenarios from the original game, including new features and some reworked elements. The game lets you play with the whole globe - just zoom down to look down at whichever front you wish.

An extensive strategy

Command: Modern Operations lets you reconstruct many world battles after World War II in an impressively realistic way. Your task is to take control of various military forces in campaigns all over the globe. During the gameplay, you’ll have a chance to try out a wide selection of weaponry, as well as support and intelligence tools, including satellites.

Every clash is different

The size and quality of the opponent’s army is not the only important factor. You’ll need to take geography and climate conditions into account. The task is not simple, but you are not alone - you can always delegate some of your responsibilities to AI officers. However, the game will demand you to show off some tactical sense and knowledge of both the opponent and the realities of the battle.
