A hybrid construction strategy and survival game, Colonize is set in the 17th century, the era of colonization. It describes the settlement's history in the New World as well as all the challenges the early settlers faced. Each city will increase the number of possible voyages, the size of the ships he uses to trade with England, and the choices available in the game. It will also increase the complexity of the conditions.

The management of demographic groups, city administration, and economics are the main foci of the building simulation Colonize. It's a traditional isometric puzzle. By stages, the player constructs a city, a settlement, complete with all the characteristics of a city-state.
