Up to four players can take on the role of Colonial Marines sent to the most dangerous areas of the Aliens universe in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. This is a struggle for survival, not a rescue operation. Xenomorphs swarm in overwhelming numbers, prowl the hallways, and lurk in the shadows. Each room might be your final one. Work together with your fireteam, take advantage of the special skills of each class, and adjust as situations change from tense standoffs to full-scale combat. AFE2 offers the best cooperative Aliens experience with more complex squad mechanics, more intelligent adversaries, and a completely customisable Specialist class.

Deeper team-based mechanics that reward collaboration and clever class composition are introduced in AFE2, which expands from three to four players. Every squad composition feels unique because new and enhanced classes each offer unique playstyles and tactical skills to the battle.
